Almost midway through 1987 Volume#4 Colors! Interesting to put colors to these scenes which, for the most part have lived black and white in my brain for so long ( and especially since this current scene was recounted for me by a friend. I wasn't present.)
But there's a bit of color theory happening here as, the antagonists here are depicted as stark, shirtless, black and white figures. Most bonehead skins did have this same sort of style, and it works here as a contrast to 'Sid' here ( in red sweater) as the main character. This incident was known as the 'Sids Tooth' incident as will be revealed when the book's finished!
