As I've mentioned before, the location featured in any of my comics factor in pretty heavily. Often times these locations are featured deliberately to showcase how a place has changed. I'd always imagined that these comics could act as a 'Google Street View' of a time where such tech wasn't available.
This spot was known as 'Graffiti Bridge', and I spent hours and hours here as a teenager honing my graffiti skills. It was a place where I could paint in broad daylight and never have to worry about getting caught or anyone bothering me.
Nowadays, it's a bit more developed as there's a major shopping center adjacent to the bridge as well as a new nike path has been added.
I've added QR codes to the artwork enabling readers to see the Google Street View version of each location as well.
