Santa Cruz Still Sucks!

Bad Monkey was a Santa Cruz punk rock zine heralded by Author Mike Mechanic. In addition to the zine series, Mike released a few compilations of local bands called 'Santa Cruz Sucks', no doubt proclaiming that though Santa Cruz had a nice little music scene of active bands and performers, nothing ever really seemed to get done ( hence, the reason I eventually moved away).

My band at the time found ourselves on this compilation, in addition to Mike asking me to contribute my art to a gatefold for the album! (above).
